Virtual legal reality contains specialised legal mechanisms. The article describes the functions of the prescribing part and of the conceptual part of this reality, that is, the implementation of legal norms, the constructive function, the modeling function, ant the ontological function. Virtual legal reality enriches and extends the functions of law in the information society. At first glance, developments are affecting mainly the specialised mechanisms for the creation and implementation of legal norms. New rights and obligations of legal subjects emerge in the virtual reality. Their implementation and protection implies adequate legal procedures whose nature and purpose are inseparable from the virtual reality. The combination of rights, obligations and procedures for their implementation creates entirely new mechanisms of legal action. The original qualities of the virtual legal reality are an essential supplement to the new cognitive environment created through the ideal being and methods for development of legal knowledge. |
